The Process

How It Works

Whether you're in Miami-Dade or shipping from across the country, the process is the same.

Step 1
Submit your repair quote request
Tell us the brand, model, approximate year, and symptoms. The more detail, the better our estimate. No commitment required at this stage.
Step 2
We evaluate and respond within 72 hours
We'll tell you whether we can repair it and give you an honest price range. Ranges account for parts availability and sourcing time — we'll never surprise you.
Step 3
Approve the quote and receive your Order Number
Once you approve, we assign a unique Order # and send full packaging and shipping instructions to your email. Keep that number — you'll need it inside the box.
Step 4
Pack your device carefully and ship it to us
Follow the packaging guide below. Double-box with plenty of bubble wrap, include your Order # slip, and ship insured via UPS or FedEx to our Miami workshop.
Step 5
We repair it and return it to you
Once repaired, we notify you, collect return shipping, and send your device back in protective packaging. All repairs include a 90-day warranty on our work.
Packaging Guide

Before You Ship

These are precision instruments — often irreplaceable. Follow these steps exactly and your device will arrive ready to repair, not damaged further.

01
Wrap thoroughly
2–3 layers of bubble wrap around the entire device. Extra attention to knobs, faceplate, and any protruding parts.
02
Double-box with padding
Inside a sturdy box with 3+ inches of foam on all sides. Then place that box inside a larger outer shipping box.
03
Include your Order # slip
Write or print your Order Number on a slip and place it inside the inner box. Without it we can't match your device to your quote.
04
Ship via UPS or FedEx
Insured shipping strongly recommended. Ship to our Miami address (sent with your Order #). Email us your tracking number.

The Workshop

We treat every repair like it's irreplaceable — because it usually is.

Norberto, our senior technician, has spent more than 40 years repairing AV and hi-fi equipment. His specialty is vintage and high-end gear from the 70s, 80s, and 90s — the receivers, amplifiers, and turntables that defined what great sound sounds like.

We've seen the shift: customers who once replaced everything now choose to restore. An original Marantz 2285B, a Pioneer SX-1980, a Nakamichi Dragon — these aren't just electronics. They're irreplaceable. When something like that breaks, you don't replace it. You find someone who can fix it.

"If you're looking for a true vintage audio expert, look no further. He recently restored my Yamaha CR-840 and Pioneer SX-626 — both receivers looked as if they had just come off the showroom floor and sounded nothing short of majestic. Fair and reasonable pricing for such high-quality restorations."

"I recently bought a Yamaha CR-1000 receiver that was non-operational. I dropped it off on a Thursday, and by Tuesday my Yamaha was singing again. Honest, fair, and communicative — what else do you need?! Norberto is a true Master, Artist, and Person."

"I have this vintage Aiwa cassette deck that hasn't worked in five years — no repair shop wanted to touch it. Norberto updated me constantly on the status of the repair, and once the work was completed he sent me a video of the unit working. I highly recommend Norberto for his good workmanship and honesty."

"This is by FAR the best vintage repair shop I have ever taken my gear. Norberto's knowledge repairing vintage equipment is scary. No matter the brand, type or model, this guy will get your gear back working like day one. I gave him a very hard task I'd given to two previous techs and Norberto has been the only one nailing it. This guy is the absolute GOAT!!!!!"

"I had a great experience working with Norberto. He is professional, prompt, attentive, and very knowledgeable. I have my parent's old Fisher turntable from the late 1970s that was not functioning. Norberto quickly diagnosed and repaired it, and I can now enjoy records on the same equipment my parents did!"
